Do you want to know what it feels like to totally relax? Feel like you can’t settle your mind? Always in your mind? Can’t relax into sexual connection? Difficulty sleeping?
It is hard to put the experience of Yoga Nidra into words. On the one hand, I want to tell you how amazing it is. On the other hand, I don’t want you to come in with too many expectations. At any rate, I love this practice and how it offsets the work with do in psychotherapy, which is mostly in the mind. In order for all that work you are doing to alchemize, you have to do some nonverbal work. That is if you want to really, really heal.
This Saturday afternoon will help you experience Yoga Nidra (you’ll get 2 sessions) and learn how you can continue the practice at home. This will take place in the comfort of the Heartswell office in Ballston.
The afternoon will go as follows:
Please bring a journal, pen, yoga mat (if you have one), a small blanket, and a head cushion. You will be provided with an eye mask (you may purchase your own to take home if desired). The investment is $150 per person.
