About the Workshop
This 3-hour workshop blends gentle, intentional yoga with Internal Family Systems (IFS) reflection to support healing, embodied awareness, and self-discovery.
Through mindful movement, we will explore how our “parts” show up in the body—whether as tightness, heaviness, restlessness, or even ease. Together, we’ll practice engaging with these parts, listening to their messages, and supporting them in finding balance. The practices will emphasize integrating more Self-energy—qualities like curiosity, compassion, and calm, so participants can feel greater alignment between body, mind, and spirit.
By attuning to these signals, participants can gently unhook from old patterns and invite their parts to rest in the presence of Self. Yoga becomes a bridge for embodied integration, creating more room for freedom, choice, and resilience.
No prior yoga or IFS experience is needed. All practices are beginner-friendly and adaptable.
What to Expect
- Intentional movement practices that connect body and mind
- IFS-informed prompts to engage with and learn from your parts
- Time for personal reflection and journaling (bring a notebook)
- A supportive space for curiosity, integration, and renewal
About Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS is a therapeutic model based on the principle that our personality is made up of many sub-personalities, or “parts.” Some parts help us manage life with energy and positivity, while others take on protective roles, often motivated by fear. By engaging with these parts in the presence of Self, we uncover their motivations and help them take on new roles that allow more balance and freedom.
About the Practitioner

Andrea Andrews, LPC has been teaching yoga for over 15 years and integrates somatic and nervous system–based approaches into her therapy practice. She is IFS-informed, having completed the IFS Circle and multiple IFS workshops, and brings IFS into her clinical work to help clients access deeper clarity and compassion.
Andrea’s approach blends yoga and IFS to create a space where participants can notice how parts express themselves in the body, engage with them directly, and invite Self to lead with greater presence and compassion.
