Heartswell is looking for professional therapists who embody our values of holistic, mind-body healing and dedication to evidence-based care to apply for this position. Therapists applying for this position should be comfortable meeting with individuals and couples for remote appointments at least 10 hours per week.
Core Responsibilities
- Client Scheduling: Efficiently schedule and manage therapy sessions based on the Heartswell Provider Handbook
- Therapy Delivery: Conduct sessions in strict accordance with the guidance set forth in the Heartswell Provider Handbook, maintaining the highest standard of care.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in staff meetings (twice monthly) to align with Heartswell’s mission, share insights, and collaborate on best practices.
- Professional Development: Address growth points as identified in state licensure requirements, including engagement in consistent supervision and monthly one-on-one sessions with the Lead Therapist/Owner.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the collective expertise of the Heartswell team by sharing insights and key takeaways from continuing education endeavors.
Qualifications
- Current mental health licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, Psychologist) valid in the state of practice and willingness to apply for licensure in the state of VA.
- Experience in couples therapy.
- A demonstrated track record of providing remote therapy with high client satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills for managing scheduling and billing.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and openness to receiving and implementing feedback.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for working as part of a diverse and dynamic team.
